Kylian Mbappe has admitted that Florentino Perez is behind his dream move to Real Madrid and has revealed that the club president has never given up on trying to sign him.
Mbappe’s journey to Real Madrid has been a long, exciting and challenging one, but in the summer of 2024, the French superstar will finally be a Los Blancos player.
For club president Florentino Perez, it is a dream come true after trying twice to bring the striker to the Spanish capital, only to succeed on the third attempt.
Mbappe is now enjoying a break from the initial adjustment period of his first season, and the Frenchman

“You can see it on my face when I’m happy,” he said with a smile.

Mbappe’s path to Madrid was not easy. He rejected offers from the club twice, first as a youngster and then in 2022 when he extended his contract with PSG.
Those decisions could have ruined his relationship with the club, but as Mbappe explains, the constant support from Florentino Perez has kept his dream alive.
“It wasn’t easy,” Mbappe confesses.
“But with the president, I always had a good relationship with him. Even when I was in Paris, he was always by my side. He showed me love for me and my family and that made the difference. “I have
a lot of respect for him. I always told him that I would give everything for the club and for him, to make the Madrid fans proud.”
